One paid plan

Every worksheet on this site is free, forever, with no account and no trial clock, because the notice you are counting back from has a date on it and the date is close. The paid plan exists for the part a worksheet cannot do: keeping the address, its notices, its award and its schedule of condition together after the job, in a form you can hand to a solicitor, a buyer or the neighbour who asks in three years.

Should you just appoint a surveyor and forget the paperwork?

If the neighbour has already dissented, or the job involves special foundations or a basement, appoint a surveyor: the award is theirs to write and this site does not write it. Abutly is for everything around that. Counting the dates before you commit to a start date, sizing the schedule of condition before you book the visit, and keeping the documents afterwards, whether one surveyor wrote them or two.

This page states no surveyor's fee and ranks no firm. What a party wall surveyor charges varies by job and by area, and the only honest figure is the one your surveyor quotes you: the cost worksheet on this site multiplies the hours and rates you enter and invents nothing. Abutly Pro is £9 a month for the whole project, the only price on this page.
